Every detail of our process is designed to provide mushrooms with a clean, carefully filtered growing environment from the very beginning.

Crafted for Quality:

Our mix grain was thoughtfully crafted with quality in mind. Unlike many competing kits, we don't overlook the quality of the water used in processing. Our products are hydrated using water that passes through an 8-stage reverse osmosis filtration system, then is re-balanced through an alkaline filter. Because mushrooms are composed of 90% water, we believe the quality of that water matters. 

Premium Grain:

Our grain blend is made from high-quality milo and whole oats. Each batch is thoroughly rinsed to remove agricultural impurities before being hydrated. We also add gypsum to encourage vigorous, and healthy mycelial growth.

Product Features:

• 5-pack 3lb sterilized mix grain Unicorn bag
• 5x alcohol pad for sterile inoculation
• .2 micron filter patch for proper gas exchange
• Self healing injection port for easy inoculation

Sterilization:

To minimize the risk of contamination, every bag is pressure sterilized at 15 PSI for a full 150 minutes. Once sterilization is complete, each bag is removed and sealed in front of a laminar flow hood to maintain sterility.

Shipping:

For added protection during transit, all bags are vacuum sealed before shipping to help ensure they arrive clean and ready to use.
